I work with individuals who are living with permanent and significant disability to maximise their function and capacity within their surrounding environment. For those people currently accessing the NDIS or looking to apply for NDIS admission, I can support with the following services:

• Comprehensive Functional capacity assessments and reports

• Assistive technology prescription reports and training

• Complex Home Modifications, reports and application guidance

• Wheelchair prescription, reports and training

With a breadth of experience and expertise as an Allied Health professional, I have a thorough understanding of how injuries - both psychological and physical - can impact an individual, their family

and their daily living.

I work closely with my clients to provide injury management services through various insurance bodies including Workers Compensation, Comcare, DVA, CTP and Life Insurance. My services include:

• Workplace reviews and assessment to promote safe return to work practices

• Activities of Daily Living Assessments

• Stakeholder liaison and case management of recovery

Supporting individuals to remain safe and functional in their own home is an important part of Occupational Therapy practice. I offer services and assessments to individuals within the community including:

​

• Home modifications (such as rails, ramping access, bathroom modifications)

• Equipment prescription (such as pressure care, mobility scooters, personal alarms)

• Linking with other health care providers to improve function and health within the home

Home modifications are changes to the structure, layout and fittings of an individuals’ home so they can safely access the home and move around the home with ease. As your Occupational Therapist, I will work closely with you to identify the areas of the home you use most and ways in which we can modify the home to support your daily needs.

The home modification assessment process entails:

• Thorough assessment and analysis of your needs and daily function

• Liaison with building service providers

• Complex Home Modification application paperwork

• Monitoring of modifications during construction

• Final inspection for therapeutic benefit of modifications
